Kukkiwon Florida Branch delivers the following Kukkiwon Courses, Seminars, Tournaments, and events listed below.

International Instructor/ Master Training Course
This course is designed to enhance the instructor’s qualification through disseminating the recognized standardized curriculum and ensuring all instructors throughout the world are knowledgeable, competent and capable of delivering the Kukkiwon Taekwondo program in compliance with curriculum
and promotional standards in a professional manner.
Curriculum includes, Taekwondo Theories, Poomsae, Gyeorugi (sparring), Self Defense (HoSinSool), and special lectures covering Taekwondo topics of interest.
Course Details:
1) Graduation Course (License)
■ 1st class: Holder of the Kukkiwon 8th Dan with 2nd Class Master Certificate, or Holder of Kukkiwon 9th Dan with Master Certificate
■ 2nd class: Holding at least the Kukkiwon 6th Dan with 3rd class Master Certificate
■ 3rd class: Holding at least the Kukkiwon 4th Dan (at least 18 years old)
2) Completion Course (Non-license): Holder of the Kukkiwon 2nd or 3rd Dan (at least 18 years old). Those who completed the course shall be qualified with the Master Certificate upon obtaining the Kukkiwon 4th Dan.
3) Reviewing Course: Those who hold the (1, 2, 3) class Master Certificate may take the course again in order to keep their knowledge current.

Kukkiwon Dan Promotion Testing the USA
(4th - 7th Dan only)

This course is designed as a 3 day training seminar to refresh and update participants on the current Kukkiwon Poomsae standards.
The 3 day training event culminates with a special testing event. The special testing is designed for non-Kukkiwon Black Belts to assimilate into the Kukkiwon and test for their current rank (providing they have certificates and a Taekwondo history that is acceptable to the promotion panel).
This testing also allows both current Kukkiwon members, who have not had the opportunity to test, and non-Kukkiwon members to test for 4th thru 7th Dan (8th and 9th Dan examinations only occur in Korea at the Kukkiwon Headquarters)

World Taekwondo Hanmadang Tournament
This is a great opportunity to attend an international Taekwondo event sponsored by the Kukkiwon and Tour Korea. Participants will compete at the World Taekwondo Hanmadang Championship.

Kukkiwon Poom/Dan Promotion Examiner Course
This course is designed to educate and certify Kukkwion 4th thru 9th Dan members on the Kukkiwon Testing requirements. Those members who graduate from this course will be eligible to sit as Test Examiners on official Kukkiwon Testing Panels. Kukkiwon policy recently released states that only Licensed Kukkiwon Instructors are eligible to promote students at the Dojang level thru all of the Kup levels and up to 2nd Dan.
In the United States, all 3rd Dan thru 7th Dan Kukkiwon promotions can only be achieved by Examinations conducted by an Official Examination Panel convened using certified Examiners. The WTMU operates 6 Regional Examination Panels across America. 1st and 2nd Class Licensee/Graduates from this course will be eligible to sit on Kukkiwon America/WTMU Regional Examination panel/boards.
Course Details:
1) Graduation Course (License)
■ 1st class: Holder of the Kukkiwon 8th Dan with 2nd Class Master Certificate, or Holder of Kukkiwon 9th Dan with Master Certificate
■ 2nd class: Holding at least the Kukkiwon 6th Dan with 3rd class Master Certificate
■ 3rd class: Holding at least the Kukkiwon 4th Dan (at least 18 years old)
Information
■ Curriculum: Taekwondo theories, Practical Taekwondo, Gyeorugi, Poomsae and etc.
■ Wear Taekwondo Uniform; bring notebook and pen.

World Taekwondo Hanmadang Referee Course
This course is designed to cultivate, educate and credential International Taekwondo Hanmadang Referees, who once trained will have the knowledge, ethics and experience to operate act as a Hanmadang Referee in a fair and effective manner under the policies, procedures and guidelines governing Hanmadang events.
Course Details:
1) Graduation Course (License)

1st class: Holder of the Kukkiwon 9th Dan with 1st Class Master Certificate or, holder of the Kukkiwon 9th Dan with Master Certificate

2nd class: Holding at least the Kukkiwon 8th Dan with 2nd class Master Certificate.

3rd class: Holding at least the Kukkiwon 7th Dan with 3rd class Master Certificate.

P-1 class: Holder at least the Kukkiwon 4th Dan (at least 30 years old) with permanent residence or citizenship in his/her staying country.

P-2 class: Holder at least the Kukkiwon 3rd Dan (at least 25 years old) with permanent residence or citizenship in staying country

Refresher: Holder of Hanmadang referee certificate without experiencing a referee activity.

Taekwondo Cultural Journey to Korea
(upcoming dates to be announced)
Experience the Korean culture and its impact on the discipline of Taekwondo. This program is geared for any age, set to explore Korean history, food, pop-culture and of course, martial arts. Stay at and explore the world class Taekwondo facility, Taekwondowon, and participate in the World Taekwondo Culture Expo, as well as tour the surrounding sites. Enjoy traditional Korean food, roam the city and countryside, and meet fellow students and families from all around the world. We will also tour Korea’s famous landmarks in Seoul, the Gangnam District, Gyeongju, Yongin, and visit several UNESCO world heritage sites, as well as train at the Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters) and the Korean National Sports University.
Due to limited space for this specific event, registration will be handled on a first come, first served basis.
